Italian Stocks - Factors to watch on July 9

 MILAN, July 9 (Reuters) - The following factors could affect
Italian markets on Thursday.

 FIAT (FIA.MI)
 Italy's 2009 new car sales will match those of last year,
the industry ministry said on Wednesday, signalling a pick-up in
the next six months after a 10.7 percent fall so far this year.

 The Italian oil and gas group said an oil pipeline north of
Brass in Nigeria had been sabotaged on Wednesday with a
production loss of about 24,000 barrels of oil per day.

 FINMECCANICA (SIFI.MI)
 The Italian defence company priced the 10-year and 30-year
tranches of its dollar-denominated bond for a total of $800
million on Wednesday, two lead managers close to the operation

 The company will raise 950 million euros in funding to 2013
to invest in renewable energy projects as it seeks to leverage
