Nippon Steel to restart blast furnace from Aug 2

TOKYO, July 14 (Reuters) - Nippon Steel Corp (5401.T), the world's second-biggest steelmaker, said on Tuesday it would restart operations at a blast furnace in Oita, southern Japan, from Aug. 2.

The plant has been off line since early this year after a plunge in demand for steel. (Reporting by Yuko Inoue)
