ATHENS, Aug 28 (Reuters) - Greece's largest telecoms group OTE (OTEr.AT) said on Thursday that second-quarter profit rose 16.6 percent, helped by increased Internet and mobile take-up.

Net profit for OTE, partly owned by Deutsche Telekom (DTEGn.DE), rose to 159.3 million euros ($235.6 million), compared to 136.6 million euros last year, the company said in a statement.
