India's Patni Computer 2007 net profit 3.9 bln rupees
BANGALORE, Feb 7 (Reuters) - Indian software services firm Patni Computer Systems Ltd (PTNI.BO: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) (PTI.N: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) said on Thursday its standalone net profit for the full year to December was 3.88 billion rupees ($98 million).
The company's board approved to spend up to 2.37 billion rupees to buy back shares at up to 325 rupees a share. ($1=39.5 rupees) (Reporting by Sumeet Chatterjee)
