Harvey Nash in strategic deal with Alcatel-Lucent

Nov 11 (Reuters) - British IT-focused recruiter Harvey Nash Group Plc (HARV.L) said on Tuesday it signed a strategic partnership with telecoms infrastructure group Alcatel-Lucent AG (ALUA.PA), and its shares rose more than 13 percent in morning trade.

A new subsidiary company, Nash Technologies GmbH, will provide wireless technology maintenance, research and development services, Harvey Nash said.

Harvey Nash said it expects revenue of about 54 million euros ($69 million) over the term of the contract from Oct. 1, 2008, to Dec. 31, 2010.

At 0900 GMT, Harvey Nash shares were up 13.5 percent at 29.5 pence. ($1=.7854 Euro) (Reporting by Kumar Alagappan in Bangalore; Editing by Mike Miller)
