Indosat shares jump 23 percent on QTel deal

JAKARTA, June 10 (Reuters) - Shares in Indonesia's second-largest mobile phone operator, PT Indosat Tbk (ISAT.JK), rose more than 20 percent on Tuesday after Qatar Telecom (QTel) QTEL.QA announced a plan to hold a tender offer for the firm's shares.

Indosat shares rose as much as 23 percent to 6,950 rupiah in early trade. (Reporting by Harry Suhartono, editing by Ed Davies)
