A report from the Carbon Trust has found that despite the fact that some 26 percent of FTSE firms reported that they have been affected by climate change, only one percent actually know their carbon footprint. The survey also found that 27 percent of businesses see climate change as an opportunity.

OMG WINS MAJOR ROAD SURVEYING CONTRACT

OMG (OMG1.L: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) has won a major contract with the Highways Agency to digitally map the road system in the North-west of England. Nick Bolton, chief executive of OMG, which is behind the 3D animation technology used in films such as The Golden Compass, said he was "delighted with this strategically important contract" and that the deal was an excellent endorsement of its technology. Analysts expect the company to pick up more road-mapping contracts in other parts of the country.
