Nokia Siemens wins Bangladesh network expansion deal
HELSINKI, Oct 6 (Reuters) - Telecom network equipment firm Nokia Siemens Networks [NSN.UL] said on Monday it had won an order to expand the GSM mobile telephone network of Teletalk Bangladesh, a state-owned operator.
Financial details of the deal were not disclosed, but Nokia Siemens said it would expand Teletalk's GSM network, particularly in the capital city of Dhaka.
Nokia Siemens Networks (NSN) is a 50-50 joint venture of the world's top cellphone maker Nokia (NOK1V.HE) and Germany's Siemens (SIEGn.DE).
