LONDON, Nov 17 (Reuters) - British telecoms company BT Group (BT.L) is to broadcast catch-up and archive programming from ITV (ITV.L) through its BT Vision TV service, the two companies said on Monday.

BT Vision, a pay-TV service, already broadcasts catch-up programming for the BBC, Channel 4, and Five. ITV said it had seen strong traffic growth across its own online sites during 2008 and that this would allow it to reach new audiences.

ITV will receive a minimum guarantee from BT and will also receive a payment per subscriber in its first deal of this type with a set-top box video-on-demand operator.

BT said it had 340,000 BT Vision customers by the end of September but it has since launched a new advertising campaign. (Reporting by Kate Holton)
