JCDecaux, Publicis win French train station ad deal
PARIS, March 6 (Reuters) - Subsidiaries of Publicis and JC Decaux (JCDX.PA: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) won contracts to operate 22,000 advertising billboards in French train stations, France's train network operator RFF said on Thursday, giving no financial details.
Metrobus, a joint unit of advertising group Publicis (PUBP.PA: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) and outdoor advertising firm JCDecaux, will be in charge of advertising spaces inside train stations, while JC.Decaux-Avenir will handle billboards around the stations.
The contract will run for eight years from April 1, RFF said, adding it was one of France's biggest advertising deals.
