West Australian News cautious on ad outlook

SYDNEY, Aug 6 (Reuters) - West Australian Newspaper Holdings Ltd (WAN.AX) issued a cautious outlook for advertising revenues on Wednesday, despite reporting 2.4 percent growth in revenues for the first month of the current quarter.

The publisher, 22.3 percent owned by rival media firm Seven Network Ltd (SEV.AX), is the first Australian publisher to report its results for the year ended June 30. (Reporting by Denny Thomas; Editing by Mark Bendeich)
