Softbank not seeking shareholder approval for issue
TOKYO, May 20 (Reuters) - Japanese Internet and telecoms group Softbank Corp (9984.T) said on Tuesday it gave up putting preferred share issue for shareholder approval after reviewing opinions from its stock holders.
The firm said earlier this month it would seek shareholder approval for such an issue at its shareholders meeting scheduled on June 25. (Reporting by Taiga Uranaka)
