Square Enix to buy back up to 4.35 pct of its shares

TOKYO, Jan 25 (Reuters) - Japanese game software publisher Square Enix Co Ltd (9684.T) said on Friday it would buy back up to 5 million of its own shares, or up to 15 billion yen ($140 million) worth, representing 4.35 percent of its total shares outstanding. The buyback will be carried out from Jan. 28 to July 31. (Reporting by Kiyoshi Takenaka)
