US appeals court won't reverse set-top box rule
WASHINGTON, May 16 (Reuters) - A U.S. appeals court on Friday rejected a bid by Comcast Corp (CMCSA.O: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) to overturn a decision by federal regulators, who refused to a waive a rule designed to open up the market for cable TV set-top boxes.
The U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia denied a petition by cable operator Comcast to review a Federal Communications Commission decision. (Reporting by Peter Kaplan, editing by Gerald E. McCormick)
