April 10 (Reuters) - Yahoo Inc (YHOO.O) shareholder Capital World Investors, a unit of Capital Research and Management Co, nearly doubled its passive stake in the Web media company to 10.1 percent from 5.2 percent.
The raise in stake gives Capital World ownership and sole voting power over 135.5 million of Yahoo's outstanding shares. (Reporting by Sayantani Ghosh in Bangalore;)
