Greek PPC to bid for Montenegro power monopoly EPCG

ATHENS, July 14 (Reuters) - Greece's biggest power company, Public Power Corp (PPC) (DEHr.AT), said on Tuesday it will jointly bid with shipping group Restis for a stake in Montenegro's power monopoly EPCG, to expand in the Balkans.

"PPC... approved the participation of the company, in a joint venture with Restis Group's GoldenEnergy One Holdings Ltd, in a Montenegro government tender to acquire... up to 45 percent of Elektroprivreda Crne Gore AD Niksic (EPCG)," it said in a statement. (Reporting by Harry Papachristou)
