Orascom Telecom rejigs management, names new CEO

CAIRO, Nov 15 (Reuters) - Egypt's Orascom Telecom (ORTE.CA)(ORTEq.L) said on Sunday it was restructuring its management to focus on growth and strategic initiatives, and named Khaled Bichara as group Chief Executive Officer.

Orascom Telecom said in a statement Bichara would report to Executive Chairman Naguib Sawiris, who was previously both chairman and CEO. Sawiris said he would continue to be involved in the firm's businesses with more focus on strategic growth. (Writing by Cynthia Johnston)
