UBS (UBSN.VX) (UBS.N)

The investment bank division of UBS named John Metz as head of U.S. communications banking within the firm's technology banking group. Metz joins from Credit Suisse, where he was most recently head of the communications banking group.

SIDLEY AUSTIN LLP

Roger Martella, a former general counsel to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, has rejoined the law firm as a partner in the environmental practice group. Martella, a former associate at Sidley, is based in the Washington, D.C., office.

CARDANO

Pension fund risk consultant Cardano said Anna Dayn has joined its London-based investment management team to focus on researching and selecting private equity managers for the firm's clients.

HUDSON CLEAN ENERGY

The private equity firm said Paul Ho has joined the firm as a principal from Credit Suisse. He will oversee work in the biofuels and biomass sectors.

PROSKAUER ROSE

The law firm has hired Carolyn Doppelt Gray as special consul in its labor and employment department. Gray will co-chair the firm's accessibility and accommodations practice group. She was formerly a senior official at the U.S. Health and Human Services Department.

PRITCHARD CAPITAL

Scott Doyle is joining the firm's institutional sales group. Doyle previously worked for Friedman Billings & Ramsay.

AXA INVESTMENT MANAGERS

The asset management company appointed Chris Iggo as chief investment officer, fixed income. He was previously a senior member of the company's investment strategy team.   Continued...
