Abcam year sales, profit up 50 pct
LONDON, Sept 9 (Reuters) - Abcam Plc (ABCA.L), the online antibody sales company, said on Tuesday that sales increased 49.7 percent to 36.7 million pounds ($65.47 million) in the year to June 30, while adjusted pretax profits increased 48.2 percent to 8.2 million.
The company boosted its final dividend by 42.9 percent to 4.56p per share, making a total dividend for the year of 5.6p.
"The growing international demand for research antibodies, combined with the strength of our brand, product range and strategy, means that the board looks forward to the future with confidence," said Chairman David Cleevely in a statement.
