 MALAYSIA'S TA TO FLOAT PROPERTY UNIT
 -- Malaysian stockbroking firm TA Enterprise (TAES.KL)
plans to float its property division currently held by its
wholly-owned subsidiary TA Properties Sdn Bhd, the company said
in a statement on Thursday.
 The company said a new company, TA Global Bhd, has been
created to facilitate the listing. TA expects to raise about
437.5 million ringgit from the proposed offer for sale of
shares in TA Global, the company said.
 THREE CABLE FIRMS BID FOR TELEKOM MALAYSIA JOB-PAPER
 -- Three Malaysian fibre-optic cable companies have
submitted bids to supply the cables for a Telekom Malaysia
(TLMM.KL) project to develop the country's high-speed broadband
network, The Edge Financial Daily reported on Friday, citing
unidentified sources.
 The companies are Lite Kabel Sdn Bhd, Fujikura Federal
Cables Sdn Bhd and Opcom Holdings Bhd (OPCM.KL), the Malaysian
newspaper said.
 Telekom Malaysia announced earlier this week that it had
been formally awarded the 11 billion ringgit ($3.30 billion)
