TOKYO, Oct 15 (Reuters) - Japan's trade ministry said on Wednesday it will review special tariffs on memory chips made by Hynix Semiconductor Inc (000660.KS), responding to the South Korean firms demand for the complete lifting of the extra duties.

The Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry earlier cut its countervailing duties on Hynix's dynamic random-access memory (DRAM) chips, which had been imposed to counter what Japan said was a government-sponsored bailout of Hynix.

However, Hynix demanded that all the remaining countervailing tarriffs, which were cut to 9.1 percent on Sept. 1 from 27.2 percent previously, should be removed.
