HOUSTON, June 29 (Reuters) - BP Plc’s (BP.L)(BP.N) 437,080-barrels-per-day Texas City, Texas refinery has completed the restart of gasoline-producing fluidic catalytic cracking unit No. 1, sources familiar with refinery operations said on Wednesday.
An electrical power outage shut the unit in April. It was restarted and then shut again on June 13 due to the loss of a blower. A hydrocracking unit and a reformer remain shut at the refinery, the sources said.
A BP spokesman declined to discuss refinery operations. (Reporting by Erwin Seba; Editing by Dale Hudson)
