Sun Pharma gets tentative U.S. nod for eye drug

MUMBAI, July 2 (Reuters) - India's Sun Pharmaceutical Industries (SUN.BO) said on Thursday it had got tentative approval from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for marketing the generic version of Optivar.

The drug is used for treatment of eye itching connected to conjunctivitis. (Reporting by Narayanan Somasundaram)
