WASHINGTON, Feb 4 The U.S. International Trade
Commission said on Thursday it will weigh allegations that
Samsung Electronics (005930.KS) infringed Sharp Corp (6753.T)

technology used to sharpen pictures on televisions and other
Sharp, which had filed the most recent ITC complaint in

Sharp said in mid-December that it had won an LCD patent
lawsuit against Samsung in the Netherlands.
Samsung and Sharp are also in LCD patent-related lawsuits
in Japan and Germany. Patent suits, appeals and settlements are

The U.S. ITC case number is 337-702.
