S.Korea's SK Telecom to offer iPhone on March 16

SEOUL, March 6 (Reuters) - SK Telecom , South Korea’s top mobile carrier, said on Sunday it will begin service for Apple Inc.’s iPhone on March 16.

KT Corp , SK’s smaller rival, has carried the device exclusively in the country, selling more than 2 million units since rollout in late 2009.

SK Telecom has carried Samsung Electronics’ Galaxy S, selling more than 2 million units. (Reporting by Jack Kim, editing by Miral Fahmy)
