Spain says to issue up to 5 bln euros in bonds on Thursday

MADRID, Jan 3 (Reuters) - Spain’s Treasury said on Friday it aims to issue between 4 billion and 5 billion euros ($5.46 billion-$6.83 billion) in a new five-year bond and a reopened 14-year bond on Thursday.

Spain will auction on Jan. 9 a new bond due April 30, 2019, with a 2.75 percent coupon and a bond due Oct. 31, 2028 with a 5.15 percent coupon. ($1 = 0.7322 euros)
