Atlanta waive defensive tackle Jackson
MIAMI (Reuters) - The Atlanta Falcons have waived defensive tackle Grady Jackson, the team said on Tuesday.
Jackson, who signed a three-year contract last year, had featured in all seven Falcons games this season.
Atlanta gave no details of the reasoning behind the decision to release the player who had previously been with the Oakland Raiders, New Orleans Saints and the Green Bay Packers.
The Falcons are 1-6 and bottom of the NFC South.
