Giants' Burress improving, attends final practice session

PHOENIX (Reuters) - Giants wide receiver Plaxico Burress, unable to practice this week due to ankle and knee injuries, took part in New York's final practice before the Super Bowl, a 50-minute walk-through session on Saturday.
Burress caught 11 passes for 154 yards two weeks ago in the NFC championship game in frigid Green Bay.
"I think he's a little bit better today," Giants coach Tom Coughlin told reporters.
"He gets a little bit better each day, and hopefully we'll be able to have some further improvement tomorrow."
Burress, who has been nursing an ankle injury all season, also had some swelling in his knee this week and was listed as questionable, though expected to play.
The Giants face the New England Patriots in Sunday's Super Bowl with the AFC champions aiming to complete an unprecedented 19-0 season with their fourth NFL title in seven years.
New England coach Bill Belichick said he did not plan to put his players through a rehearsal on Saturday after overseeing an 80-minute workout in shorts on Friday.
Both teams look to have all their players available for the Super Bowl clash at University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale. Continued...
