HOUSTON, Texas (Reuters) - Australian Geoff Ogilvy continued his recent run of good form with a strong finish at the Houston Open on Sunday and said he was looking forward to next week's Master tournament -- the year's first major.

Ogilvy birdied the difficult 18th hole, rated hardest on the Redstone Golf Club Tournament Course, to complete a final-round of four-under-par 68 and tie for second place on 14 under par, two strokes behind winner Johnson Wagner.

The 2006 U.S. Open champion missed his first three cuts of the year on the U.S. Tour but caught fire in March.

"It's been really good," Ogilvy told reporters. "Before we got to Florida I was obviously playing not very well.

"I got to Tampa and played quite well, played well at Bay Hill and then obviously played great at Doral," Ogilvy said about tying for 10th in the PODS Championship, tying for 14th at the Arnold Palmer and then winning the WGC-CA Championship.

"I took a week off and the form is still there. I was hoping I could come here and fine tune and work on some stuff for next week and hopefully win the tournament in the process, and I've had a good week and I'm going to feel good going into next week."
