NEW YORK (Reuters) - The Cleveland Cavaliers will be without guard Daniel Gibson in Friday's Game Six showdown against the visiting Boston Celtics due to a separated shoulder, the team said on its Web site (www.nba.com/cavaliers).

Gibson left the court in the fourth quarter of Boston's Game Five victory on Wednesday after a collision and subsequent tests revealed a separation that will sideline him for one to two weeks, the NBA club said.

The 22-year-old Gibson, who averaged 10.4 points and 2.5 assists per game during the regular season, has been scoring nine points a game during the playoffs.

Top-seeded Boston leads the best-of-seven Eastern Conference semi-final series 3-2. The winner of the series meets the Detroit Pistons in a best-of-seven series for a place in the NBA Finals.
