Sixers' Speights out with knee injury

PHILADELPHIA (Reuters) - Philadelphia 76ers forward Marreese Speights will be sidelined for six to eight weeks with a torn medial collateral ligament in his left knee, the NBA team said on Sunday.

Speights was injured in Saturday's game at Chicago, the team said on its website (www.nba.com/sixers).

He had been averaging 13 points and 6.4 rebounds this season.
