Dassault Systemes to buy IBM sales and support ops

PARIS, Oct 27 (Reuters) - Dassault Systemes (DAST.PA) said on Tuesday it had agreed to buy sales and client support operations from IBM (IBM.N) for $600 million.

The French technology company is buying operations that include IBM's Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software application portfolio as well as customer contracts and related assets, Dassault Systemes said in a statement.

The transaction is expected to be completed in the first half of next year.
