LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - Stephanie Niznik, best known for her role on "Everwood," will star on the CW's upcoming drama series "Life Is Wild."

The show centers on a New York veterinarian (D.W. Moffett) and his second wife (Niznik) -- a beautiful and rich corporate lawyer -- who move to a South African game preserve with their two sets of children.

The roles of both parents were recast. Niznik replaces Judith Hoag, who played the role in the pilot; Moffett recently took over from Brett Cullen.

Niznik is best known for her role as Nina Feeney, the neighbor and confidante of Andy Brown (Treat Williams) on "Everwood." She most recently appeared in the two-hour "Grey's Anatomy" episode that introduced the spinoff series "Private Practice."
