"Housewives" villain Cole "Good" for ABC pilot

LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - Hot off his stint on ABC's "Desperate Housewives," Gary Cole has signed to co-star on the network's drama pilot "Good Behavior."

Catherine O'Hara ("Best in Show") stars as the matriarch of a family of criminals who decides it's time for her brood to go straight when her husband (Cole) ends up in the clink for five years. The project is based on a New Zealand show.

Cole is coming off a turn on "Housewives" as the evil ex-husband of Dana Delany's character.
