Pair of Stamos projects focus on life and death
LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - John Stamos is set to star in and produce "Killing Mr. Kissel," a Lifetime TV movie based on the true story of two multimillionaire brothers who married the women of their dreams and wound up dead.
The "ER" actor plays real estate mogul Andrew Kissel, who marries ski instructor Hayley Wolff (Gretchen Egolf), while his younger brother, Rob (Anson Mount), a New York investment banker, marries social climber Nancy Keeshin (Robin Tunney). On the surface, it seems that the brothers are starting idyllic families, but a turn of events ultimately leads to their deaths. The movie premieres in November.
Separately, Stamos is developing a TNT cable movie, "Baby Love," which centers on the founder of Project Cuddle, a group that works to save babies from being abandoned or harmed. Stamos is a longtime advocate and spokesman for the organization, which has helped nearly 650 babies.
