"Battlestar" beauty signs TV deal at Fox

LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - "Battlestar Galactica" actress Tricia Helfer has agreed to star in a series project at Fox, probably a drama.

The Canadian model-turned-actress, who plays the beautiful but dangerous Cylon Number Six in the sci-fi drama, signed a one-year talent holding deal with Fox Broadcasting Co. The network will search for a project for Helfer.

Her feature credits include the upcoming indie "Walk All Over Me," which will be released by the Weinstein Co.

"Battlestar Galactica" began its fourth and final season on Sci Fi Channel Friday.
