LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - "The Wonder Years" veteran Fred Savage will play the lead role in the CBS comedy pilot "Single White Millionaire."

The project revolves around an unassuming tycoon in his 30s who is ready to settle down. Savage most recently starred on ABC's short-lived 2006 comedy "Crumbs."

Meanwhile, Amy Smart has been tapped as the lead in CBS' romantic drama pilot "Meant to Be's." She plays a wealthy young gallery owner in New York who elopes one night only to be thrown from her 40th-floor balcony en route to her honeymoon. She becomes a "Meant to Be," helping people on Earth head in the "meant to be" direction before she can go to heaven.

Smart soon will reprise her role of Eve in the sequel to the indie thriller "Crank."
