LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - Comedian Carlos Mencia will host the Primetime Creative Arts Emmy Awards, set to be handed out September 8 at the Shrine Auditorium.

Statutettes in 75 categories will be presented, most of them for behind-the-scenes work, such as art direction, cinematography and hairstyling.

The ceremony will air on E! Entertainment Television as a two-hour special at 8 p.m. September 15, the night before the Primetime Emmy Awards ceremony, which will be broadcast live from the Shrine by Fox. Ryan Seacrest will host that ceremony.
