Barkley staying inside NBA for Turner Sports

NEW YORK (Hollywood Reporter) - Turner Sports said Wednesday it has extended its deal with retired basketball star Charles Barkley, who has worked as a studio analyst for the past eight seasons.

The renewal was not a surprise. Barkley recently told Playboy that he would be "a damn fool" to walk away from his co-hosting gig on "Inside the NBA," a job that keeps him busy for one day each week.

Financial terms weren't announced. But Barkley will appear on TNT's Thursday night games, as well as on NBA TV and NBA.com's NBA OverTime.
