LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - ABC is looking to reduce the order on two of its new midseason dramas, "The Castle" and "The Unusuals."

Sources close to the network said the cutbacks, to 10 episodes from 13 for each, are not for creative but for inventory reasons. ABC already has "Lost" as well as the drama "Cupid" and the comedies "In the Motherhood," "Better Off Ted" and "The Goode Family" launching in midseason. They could be joined by the Courteney Cox comedy "Cougar Town," which was fast-tracked last week with a pilot order targeted for midseason.

"Castle" stars Nathan Fillion as a horror novelist who helps the NYPD solve crimes. "The Unusuals," an ensemble comedy-drama set in a New York police precinct, co-stars Amber Tamblyn.
