LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - Nickelodeon is going to "Summer Camp."

The kids cable network has ordered a half-hour pilot for a comedy about a sleep-away camp.

It comes from Peter Barsocchini, writer of the "High School Musical" movies, who described the project as "an opportunity to present the comedy and emotion kids experience when they are away from home for the first time."

Production is slated to begin in Malibu this month.
