Thales (TCFP.PA) fully supports efforts by warplane maker
Dassault Aviation (AVMD.PA) to become the company's largest
private shareholder, a senior Thales executive said on Friday.
"Dassault is already a shareholder in Thales and we consider
this movement friendly and we support it totally," Reynald
Seznac, CEO of Thales Alenia Space, said at a briefing for
Dassault this week entered exclusive talks to buy the 20.8
pct Thales stake held by Alcatel-Lucent ALUA.PA.
Seznec said the move would not affect Thales Alenia Space,
67 percent owned by Thales and 33 pct by Finmeccanica SIFI.MI.
