June 10 Cardiac-device maker Thoratec Corp
said its Chief Financial Officer David Smith resigned
to pursue other opportunities and Vice-President of Finance
Roxanne Oulman will take over on an interim basis, effective
The company also reiterated its 2011 outlook.
Smith, who joined Thoratec in December 2006, will continue
as a full-time non-executive employee of the company until July
1, the company said in a regulatory filing.
Oulman joined Thoratec in February 2004.
Shares of the company were down 3 percent at $31.27 on
Thursday on Nasdaq.
