Japan Nikkei down 1.3 percent after Wall St fall

TOKYO, Nov 2 (Reuters) - Japan's Nikkei average opened down 1.32 percent on Friday after a Wall Street tumble set off by renewed credit worries and weak financial stocks, while a stronger yen also sparked selling. As of 0003 GMT the benchmark Nikkei average .N225 was down 1.3 percent or 215.67 points at 16,648.88. The broader TOPIX index fell 1.32 percent or 21.79 points to 1,613.99.
