TOKYO, Nov 14 (Reuters) - The Nikkei average opened up 1.2 percent on Wednesday, led by Kyocera Corp (6971.T: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz), following big overnight gains on Wall Street.
By 0002 GMT, the Nikkei average .N225 had risen 177.58 points to 15,304.21. The broader TOPIX index gained 1.3 percent to 1,473.18. (Reporting by Taiga Uranaka; Editing by Hugh Lawson)
