TOKYO, May 13 (Reuters) - Japan's Nikkei stock average climbed 1.5 percent on Tuesday for a second day of gains as investors sought out Nikon Corp (7731.T: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) and other shares with good results, while exporters gained as the dollar rose.
The benchmark Nikkei .N225 gained more 200 points to end at 13,953.73, hovering near four-month highs hit last week. The broader Topix gained 1.3 percent to 1,360.05. (Reporting by Elaine Lies;)
