Beijing fine as Bird's Nest again beckons Bolt
BEIJING (Reuters) - The weather in Olympics host city Beijing was cool, sunny and clear on Monday, the 10th day of the Games, when "Lightning" Usain Bolt is due to return to the Bird's Nest stadium in search for a second gold.
But the capital is expected to turn cloudy later in the day with light winds and temperatures of 21 to 29 degrees Celsius (67-84 degrees Fahrenheit), the Beijing Meteorological Bureau said on its website (www.bjmb.gov.cn).
Heavy rain on Thursday forced a string of outdoor sports to reschedule, but the weather in Beijing has since been cooler and clear.
Hong Kong, host to Olympic equestrian events, will be mostly cloudy with a maximum temperature of about 29 degrees Celsius.
Bolt broke the world record to win gold in the 100m sprint on Saturday and returns to the stadium to begin his quest for gold in the 200m race.
