BANGKOK (Reuters) - Thailand is "running short" of time as it prepares to host a regional summit next month while tackling a major political crisis, the head of the Southeast Asian 10-nation grouping said on Sunday. Surin Pitsuwan, secretary-general of the Association of South East Asian Nations (ASEAN), stopped short of recommending Bangkok postpone the meeting, but he said in a statement a delay would allow it and ASEAN to "prepare better" for the meetings.
