JOS, Nigeria (Reuters) - Residents in the central Nigerian city of Jos have brought 367 bodies to the main mosque after clashes between Muslim and Christian gangs, a spokesman for the mosque said on Sunday.

Murtala Sani Hashim, who has been registering the dead as they are brought to the mosque, told Reuters bodies were continuing to arrive. Ten corpses wrapped in blankets, two of them infants, lay behind him.
