FACTBOX: Military deaths in Afghanistan

(Reuters) - A British soldier died and four others were wounded in a mine blast in the southern Afghan province of Helmand, the Ministry of Defense said on Saturday.

The death brings the number of British soldiers killed in Afghanistan since the overthrow of the Taliban in 2001 to 95.

Here are figures for foreign military deaths as a result of violence or accidents in Afghanistan since the Taliban government was toppled:
